Selling Ourselves Short
I've always been uncomfortable selling the idea of myself or my intellectual property. I was raised on a farm, where good hard labor with two hands was the most valuable commodity. There is nothing wrong with hard work, it's very satisfying and keeps humans alive. I enjoy the fruits of my labor with auto detailing and furniture restoration. Lately, I have tried to break my self-imposed thought process that I must produce something tangible to be successful. As a result, I have undervalued my intellectual blessings and neglected how to capitalize on my caring personality, critical thinking skills, and ability to connect with others.
While campaigning for State office, I had to sell the idea of me. Not me necessarily, but how I could embody and advocate for the ideals of my constituents. How could I be the conduit to achieving a better world? I tirelessly advertised how I would work for my community members, as any politician should be working for the people they represent. I joined community groups, got to know the local and state issues more in-depth, and advocated like crazy for things that would impact myself, my neighbors, and my community. I didn't have a product I could produce and distribute. Instead, the value of my work lies in the outcomes for my community. Once I resolved my irrational belief that my non-tangible work had no value, people started to seek me out for my intellect and how I could bring value to their cause.
Do you ever feel like you don't have enough intellectual or emotional products to bring to the table? Maybe your current job, caretaking role, or constantly busy days have left you feeling empty, void, and ineffective. This is where my coaching program helps you manifest the life you want. I won't be selling you on the idea of me, I will sell you on the idea of YOU! The truth is that you are worthy, you are creative, you are healthy, and you deserve abundance.
Stay well in mind, body, and spirit.
